AL2 had it via EPEL

Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc)

it will be especially useful when/if appstream2 supports Amazon Linux 2023. as it is one of the easiest ways to provide RDP access from a elastic fleet to RDP servers

Does AL2023 support a GUI at this time?

Not really no. We provide some low level packages like gtk3 (not 4 !) mostly to satisfy some too-hard-to-kill dependencies and we have the X server but no VNC for example and no GUI apps.
