Update. Current version is 1.10.0.

Is this package available in Amazon Linux 2? If it is available via external sources such as EPEL, please specify.

Are there any specific bugs/features in the newer version that you're looking for?

It's not so clear. There's nothing that affects my workloads on bref, but I can't speak for all bref users.
