I'll keep this issue open for the request for Amazon Linux on HyperV and Azure.
Some customers use al2 as a standard OS on AWS and other cloud vendors such as Azure with minimal issues. Since al2023 is its own fedora based distribution customers are finding it harder to have compatibility. Having additional support\feature\compatibility (like HyperV images) for running al2023 outside AWS would make adopting al2023 as standard across enterprise organizations an easier decision.
