Yes, and some of them they do exist under EPEL

Is pulling your required modules from CPAN not an option in this case?

Thank you for your response, unfortunately, pulling the modules and compiling them via CPAN is not an option as this slows down the deployment of the critical application. We also encountered various errors to CPAN modules. This presents a risk to our critical application and so far the packages in Amazon Linux 2 make our application run like a charm.

@andrewmgrafton You could build missing packages using COPR to build either Centos, Centos Stream, Fedora or EPEL versions of available packages. I've built them but it required a couple of missing packages to be built first.
