[Bug] - Kernel panic on first boot - KVM/qemu/proxmox #696

When trying to boot the latest qcow2 image in Proxmox (7.4-17) I get a kernel panic.

Not using Proxmox, latest image of AL2023 (download link https://cdn.amazonlinux.com/al2023/os-images/2023.4.20240416.0/kvm/al2023-kvm-2023.4.20240416.0-kernel-6.1-x86_64.xfs.gpt.qcow2) boots okay on kvm/qemu: Screenshot from 2024-04-19 17-24-13

UPDATE: For anyone else having this issue, changing CPU type to host fixed the issue. I also had to set the cloud-init settings manually in the proxmox console - for some reason it didn't use my seed.iso.
