Amazon Linux supports DockerHub container image updates for AL2023. The latest images have been added in pull request 16911, waiting merge.
We apologize for the delay and are looking at our processes to ensure timely delivery of DockerHub updates.
There is still missing 2023-minimal image on official docker repository.
Minimal AL2023 container images was a follow-up launch in ECR. We had not published those on DockerHub. We can prioritize this backlog task if there is customer interest.
What topic is missing from the current Amazon Linux 2023 documentation? Please be specific.
Looking at DockerHub, the last image was pushed 2 months ago (at the time of writing): https://hub.docker.com/_/amazonlinux/tags?page=&page_size=&ordering=&name=2023
But in ECR gallery, the image was pushed 7 days ago (at the time of writing): https://gallery.ecr.aws/amazonlinux/amazonlinux
Are AL2023 images no longer pushed to DockerHub, or is there a delay in pushing the images? If the former, can we update the docs/repo to mention that DockerHub is deprecated?
