Color balance calibration #2

Different characters have different luminance. The more white pixels in the
character, the brighter will be the matching imageblock.

There is a limit how low or how high luminance levels a certain character
set can display.

It would be best to calibrate the image so, that the luminance scale
spreads evenly on the character set.

As it is now, there are two characters that are used too much: the one in
the black end and the one in the white end.
