API for Amber for Batteries #165

It would be good to have API for monitoring and controlling Amber for Batteries, so that it can be better integrated with other automation.

It's planned! We're working in the architectural changes required to make that happen at the moment.

No ETA yet though.

Is there a plan on what kind of capabilities the API would provide? For example, would it be able to control the batteries to charge / discharge like in app? Would that be timed like in app or just some kind of manual mode switching?

(Also it would be great if there is any rough ETA.)

Not yet. At least nothing I'm willing to talk about in public yet.
