GPX import loses speed information

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Import a gpx created from an other application, ensure that data contains 
speed information
2. display imported track with speed color overlay

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a track with colors dependant from speed. I only see a 
monocolored track

Which Android device are you using?
Acer Lequid Metal

What version of Android are you running?
2.2.2

What version of the Open GPS Tracker are you running?
0.9.24

Please provide any additional information below.
This also works with GPX files exported from Open-gpstacker that you import 
back into application. 

This is most strange as speed may be computed according to gpx track timestamps 
and distances, if speed field is absent
