What steps will reproduce the problem?

E: Broken packages

After step 5, I see this:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libvlccore2: Depends: vlc-data (= 1.0.6-1ubuntu1.2) but 1.1.4-1ubuntu1~ppa1~lucid1 is to be installed

Hi,

with ubuntu lucid you need to have vlc 1.06 installed to install freetuxtv from
the PPA
If you want to have Freetuxtv with vlc 1.1.. on lucid you have to use the
package from ftv site
http://freetuxtv.eric-beuque.com/packages/index.php?mode=&id=121&file=freetuxtv_
0.5.1-1_i386.deb

With maverick, the ppa is ok with vlc 1.1.4

(sorry for my english)
