I don't think that I can answer this one completely. From a quick read of the data, it looks like all of those would be appropriate at specific times...How are these linked to the rest of the data, and can we infer context that way?
The terms are linked to the item records and most are also linked to the AAT. In future rounds of clean-up, we will make more specific labels to clarify where these terms fit in. At this point, the terms are added as tags: "who, what, when, where". In our cataloguing efforts so far, there are almost never any concept terms. Sometimes classifications may have also slipped into the mix, but generally all terms are subjects.
OK—let's consider them subjects, then, for the time being?
Sounds like a good idea. Thanks!
Alright. So I have modeled the 'term' in this file according to the model for Subject (http://review.americanartcollaborative.org/entity/E22_Man-Made_Object#field_11-search_0). Everything that does not come under Subject will either have to be separated into a new file or be removed from this file.

So, all of these terms should be considered subjects at this time. Is this correct? This is my preference. Nothing should be removed or separated into new files.
Hi,
For attribute "term", it seems that we can do three different type of modeling based on aac review models.
Is there a preferred one among these three or any two of these, or all three?
