As a member of the AHS, I can renew my membership in the American Handel Society.

@ecedmondson - this is the largest feature that needs to be built this summer/fall. I would really, truly, massively appreciate help with it.

Is this something you'd like to work with me on? If so, maybe we can schedule a call before mid-July and talk about requirements, brainstorm solutions, divide work, etc.

Re scheduling call: I find myself free tonight, but that's short notice. After that, I probably won't be free until the 4th.

I am usually unavailable Tuesday evenings.

Iirc you are on the east coast, which is an hour ahead of me. If you need a weeknight, a Thursday might be best. Otherwise, I am usually out later (~6:45 pm central to ~8:00 pm central) to try and avoid the afternoon and evening sun during bike rides.

That day should work. I think I was not clear. Thursdays I am usually free earlier, sometimes as early as 7:15 central, though at least by 7:30 central, if that is an easier time for you given the time difference. I am also fine just meeting at 8 central but that begins to get awful late.

Next Steps

@reginafcompton and @ecedmondson will both looking into: https://github.com/americanhandelsociety/americanhandelsociety-members/issues/122
- We will meet during the week of July 17 or July 25.
Decide how to handle the UI. A few options:
- Put the "Renew" link in the nav.
- Put the "Renew" link on the profile page (e.g., in the Membership div)
- Put it in both places.
@reginafcompton will email the Board about the usefulness of rolling memberships and how that might affect the automated email feature.
