I took a look and it appears that it is a flash encoding and delivery related
issue. What this means is that the video is not compatible with any of the
Google TV supported codecs for video (but the audio is supported).
Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done from the Google TV end. The
video provider (the site you referenced) would need to change their encoding to
a supported codec.

Thanks a lot for reply.

I can watch the same video using Google Chrome on my laptop. It surprises me
that the video codec coverage for Chrome's Google TV is smaller than Chrome's
running in a regular computer. My understanding was that using Google TV I
would be able to watch regular video content available on the web using my TV.

Besides that, are you really sure that that video encoding is really not
supported? I reiterate my question because when I try making the video full
screen I am able to see quick snippets of the video that vanishes after a
second or two. After that I see a screen composed by: 5% upper top and 95%
bottom part. The 95% bottom part is black , but the 5% upper top part seems to
be playing the 5% bottom part of the original video as if the video is being
pushed upwards and is displaced (see the attached image it represents what I
see)

Interesting, I'm going to chat with some of the eng team and see if I can get a
better idea of whats going on.

One additional thing I will point out is that Google TV uses a much older
version of chrome (v11) where desktop chrome is at v23 I believe - this should
improve in the future but obviously does not help with this situation. Stay
tuned

We took a close look at the issue and it is entirely related to Flash (Google
TV is an embedded linux system and Adobe flash support for linux is not as good
as other operating systems, Flash support for Linux is outside of Google TV's
control). If you are are the site owner or video owner I would encourage you to
consider an HTML5 solution for video playback.
