Support Miracast #103

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Android 4.2 added support for the Miracast standard. Using a Google TV device
as a Miracast display would be ideal, since consumers would not have to buy
another device to share displays. This would also open up new opportunities for
developers and seconds screen apps. Games that use the mobile device as a
controller and the Google TV as the display would be big game changer for the
platform.

Why does Google choose to fall behind the likes of Apple and MS? They could
have OWNED the living room market had they taken GTV seriously from the start.
Still, GTV is not too far behind, but Google needs to open their (fat) wallet
and spend some bucks (i.e., get HBO Go fixed/useable, offer more apps, such as
Hulu, MirrorCast, etc, etc)!! #scroogled
