OH FOR THE LAG OF GAME #124

Why is it so hard to make a game mode / bypass image processing?

I recently got a gaming system, and it's simply not usable with the degree of 
lag there is.  I have tried turning off all the processing settings I can to no 
avail, and I feel that switching to composite from HDMI defeats the purpose of 
a high-end console.  I love the GoogleTV functionality, so now I'm torn between 
having that functionality and replacing my television for something less laggy. 
 Please don't make me do this!  Help!
