IR programming support for LG Qwerty Magic Remote #136

The LG Qwerty Magic Remote packaged with the LG Google TVs (47g2 & 55g2) does 
not use infrared for the volume buttons (uses RF for most things), so it is 
impossible to program my soundbar (which uses IR) to respond to the volume 
buttons on the magic remote.

I believe the magic remote DOES use IR to power on and off the TV.

My feature request is to be able to program the magic remote to issue IR 
commands instead of RF if the user so chooses.

(IMO the IR blaster is not a substitute for this functionality as it does not 
work with most non-amplifiers/receivers)

For device hardware you will need to contact the device manufacturer.
