Any work-around ideas not involving a system wipe would be greatly appreciated,
as entering a password every time I turn on my TV is not ideal.

No. Next month I'm getting a new cable plan, so I will try a system-wipe and
see if that is able to remove it. I have not been able to find another way to
remove it.

I'm having the same problem having to enter my password after using android
device manager to locate my android phone. Have their been any remedies to
remove the password once device has been located?

The only way I was able to fix this was to do a complete factory reset on the
TV.

Like #4 above, I'm having the same problem having to enter my password after
using android device manager to locate my android phone. Looks like a factory
reset is the only way forward at this time. Phone = LG3.
LG-D855
Android Ver 4.4.2
Kernel Ver 3.4.0
Software Ver V10g-EUR-XX

So very annoying!
