Unable to play video in VideoView #42

- Steps to reproduce the problem (including sample code if appropriate).
Inside a fragment's onStart where mVideo is a VideoView previously setup:

  public void onStart() {
    super.onStart();
    MediaController mc = new MediaController(getActivity());
    mc.setAnchorView(mVideo);
    mVideo.setMediaController(mc);
    mVideo.setVideoURI(Uri.parse("https://view.vzaar.com/933735/video"));
    mVideo.start();
}

- What happened.
Video fails to play (with an error dialog saying Video cannot be played).

- What you think the correct behavior should be.
The video should play within the VideoView.

Did you try passing the exact path to the vidoe file (ending in 
filename.extension)?
What is the video file format?
It might be an issue related to VideoPlayer not supporting redirects.
