USB Microphone support #60

I would like to be able to use USB microphones the same way one would use 
'Audio Capture' in an Android application for a tablet or phone.

Details on the way this API is used are available on the Android dev site:
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/audio-capture.html

Ideally one could create a phone for the tablet, phone, and tv using the same 
API.

I mean to say ideally one could create an app for the tablet, phone, and tv 
using the same API.

The microphone is now supported with 2nd generation Google TV devices.

Just a bit of clarification on this, is the API the same as with phones/tablets?
