Please allow web cam on google tv #83

I have sony google tv. Its being long time and I am surprised to see still 
there is no support for web chat like skype/Gtalk. This is highly desirable 
feature and will definately boost sales.

Indeed videochat on Google TV is a highly desirable and requested feature.  
OEMs have definitely looked into it already.  While it's not yet a built-in 
feature on Google TV, it's possible to have apps that provide features using IP 
camera.  We encourage developers to look into this and explore various 
technologies in video apps.

Also on Revue there is Logitech Vid that is also HD, you must only to provide a 
plugin for hangout.

I would love this feature especially as British Telecom have ensured my home 
line has been down since Christmas Eve and it's still not working. With all the 
relatives in Scotland and Ireland it would be a great investment. I would 
probably purchase more for the family.
