Why can't you hook the FW cable from the MOTU into an Apple FW->TB2 adapter and then plug that into "DP IN 1" on the back of the Titan (or Alpine ) Ridge card ?
I'm just curious cause I can plug my MOTU into an Apple FW->TB2 adapter and then plug the adapter into thunderbolt ports on other Macs and the MOTU is recognized. Any reason for the TB3 adapter when doing this with these GC cards ?
I'm not planning on using the GC card to drive any video I should add.
