I am using vrecord GUI to set up DV capture. Entering "vrecord" in Terminal launches a gtkdialog window and displays the DV tab.
I find that when I go to use the directory picker (next to the 'Select a recording directory'), this creates a new Finder tab. The GUI then thinks the mouse pointer is in the wrong place, misplaced vertically by the height of the tab bar. Also the bottom of the tab cuts off the same amount of GUI. Moving the tab to a new window solves this. See attached screencaps.
