Just a friendly suggestion on re-using an existing solution instead...

[ ] Visit LoopBack (LB) site, and
- [ ] Note support in LB for PostgreSQL in docs here
- [ ] Note that PostgreSQL support includes full round-trip engineering between data models and tables
- [ ] Also note LB uses node-postgres which is likely to be faster than sequelize
[ ] Watch this YouTube video for nice LB intro
[ ] Consider watching this series for more details in the context of React

Also, if you find LB to be a good fit, then you might care to...

[ ] Keep an eye on this repo, as I plan to open source a LB-based project there myself soon, and we might be able to share some code and solutions! 😃
