Feature Request: Change default times for servers offline etc in automation policy #867

Open dinger1986 opened 2 years ago

It would be good when setting automation policies to set the offline and overdue check in periods globally for servers and workstations by policy rather than the python management commands so that new servers that are added automatically have the correct offline/overdue settings. Example: Servers offline after 1min and overdue after 3min. Workstations offline after 10min and overdue at 30 days

...atm 2min is the shortest offline value enforced by the gui :)

Speaking as an MSP guy, online/offline/overdue would naturally differ between servers and workstations. Not to mention people migrating from other RMMs to Tactical would want to have these thresholds pre configured for servers and workstations to their own standards from the start. going back and manually changing it on each device is painful and a bulk update from the python management commands doesn't differentiate between servers and workstations.

We had looked at this in the past, but might be able to do with automation manager enhancement.

also adding my little salt: If this feature is added please add the default check interval time to the list.
