I am trying to use this add-on to create a text box within a standard monthly calendar Google Docs template. I select the text in the calendar box, choose Box-it, and keep getting this error message. Same thing when I try to create a box in a calendar box (single date on a monthly calendar) without any text in it.

Will this app work for what I'm trying to do? We want to do multiple color-coded entries -- such as 2 events for 2 different brands on the same day.

thanks! Becky

Hi @Becmcmanus I figured out why it has been giving you that error. What you want to achieve is definitely doable but not currently supported in Box-It. I just added this to my todo enhancement, but for the meantime, a workaround for you probably is by clicking "insert table" from the top menu(Table>Insert Table) when you are inside of a calendar box.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I will attempt the table suggestion. Seems like it would be a simple thing to be able to add a text box in Docs.

thanks again, Becky
