Minor changes in theory, I think I managed to add all of the relevant changes into your branch. Let me know if there is anything not working.

Hey @aminmkhan great feature! I just had an issue that the et al. was not showing up when I print the bibliography. I was wondering if this is somehow getting removed due to the custom formatting?
