What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Checkout repository
2. Open App folder
3. Try to find an Xcode project bundle

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
  An user expects to find an Xcode project file, there's none insted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
  This applied to r4.

Please provide any additional information below.
  The README file says "An xcodeproj which compiles this launcher outside of the Google build
environment will be available shortly", the file was last updated in 2009.

Please provide an Xcode project bundle.
