Update Pop-up and Update Button #170

Hi I have been using AB Download Manager for a week. It's amazing! I was using version 1.3.0. When I searched, I found that a new version had already been released, and that is 1.4.1. But I didn't receive any Notification or Pop-up for the Update. Also, I didn't find any update button in the Settings or Tools of AB Download Manager. When I tried to install new version over the existing one, it went gone. I tried it 3 times but couldn't install the new one. So I had to uninstall the previous version and then installed the New Version. Please provide Update Button in 'Tools' or 'About' and consider 'Update Notification' or 'Update Pop-up' in upcoming updates if possible.

Also Please mention the Version Number in the Website https://abdownloadmanager.com/ beside (Get App) button.

I will add auto update feature in upcoming versions.

What do you mean you tried 3 times? can you please provide a reproducible steps? so I can debug it? (for example you tried to upgrade from which version to which version) the current behavior of the NSIS installer (Windows) is to first closes the app if it was running then remove the old installation files and write new data. I mentioned in the ChangeLog of v1.2.0 that you must remove the previous versions because older version were using another installer (Wix) but since that version it uses NSIS installer in Windows
