QUESTION - Editing ByHost preference files using Python and Corefoundations #345

I found your post here

on using Python and CoreFoundations to edit preference files. I am trying to 
edit the preference files in ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost
Specifically for Microsoft Lync. No matter what key I edit, the original values 
change back to default once I run the program. I've tried syncing and that 
doesn't work. Is there anything specific that I'm missing so that I can add 
this to my deployment of Lync?

I'm trying to edit the server address my users connect to.

This is an issue tracker for Munki. Please consider re-asking your question on 
the MacEnterprise list where you found the original question. I need to keep 
this tracker for its intended purpose, and not turn it into a general forum.
