Black on grey in Google search #655

Something is wrong with the colors chosen in the Google search window that pops up when you click the search bar on the main screen. I get black text on grey background: Screenshot_20190926-175701 Not really useable. 😕

If I open the search from any other place I get black text on a white background. It's just rootless launcher that is affected.

I've played around with the dark mode settings without any effect.

This is an older device with android 7, which might be a reason things aren't working as expected.

Help?

Try to use APK EDITOR app and if only you can understand the codes.
