I did not know about this GitHub feature. I guess I am not alone :)

@trejjam @amis92 i had no idea that there is a built-in navigation. But i still think a inline toc is more useful as it works no matter what environment and requires no extra clicks, but it requires extra maintenance.

One additional note, most other amazing lists have a toc (at least those that I have visited)

Just to balance opinions: I didn't know about this feature, but now that I do, making it explicit seems redundant.

You still need to click to see it, explicit list has a better experience for me.

The built in nav is sticky and has filtering - but it seems the vocal majority does see value in hand-made ToC. Let's have it.
