2 years ago I also am experiencing the same issue, yet I have a Google account. Therefore, I don't think that is causing the problem.
YouTube may have updated their site to use a new way of delivering recommended videos on the homepage (after the first 3 rows), that BlockTube cannot recognise. I imagine BlockTube needs to be updated.
When building a project that modifies another project (let's call this a layer 2 project), there will be times where the creators of the layer 1 project change their code (to damage the functionality of layer 2 projects or for unrelated reasons) and the creators of the layer 2 project have to quickly fix the way their project interacts with the layer 1 project.
I am using up to date Chrome btw.
Please fix this quickly guys. I love this layer 2 project.

Context menu will not be available on some videos. Usually the further I scroll down, the more likely it is that the context menu won't be functioning. There will be 3 dots, but it is just the default youtube options, not the expanded options on has while using this add on. (block video, block channel)
When the option to block videos and channels in the context menu disappears, the add on will also stop blocking channels and terms that I blocked. Not sure what is going on. I can get the menu to work right if I close firefox, and reopen it. But the option to block the channel will only last for the first 3 rows of videos. As soon as the algorithm starts delivering more videos than the default first 3 rows, the add on stops working entirely. I dunno what is causing this. When I go to /new it just says premium members get access to beta. So I think I am using the up to date youtube.
maybe it is because I don't have a youtube account? But that is the reason I am using this app. To get the function to not see videos, while not being data mined by google.
