Blocked content shows in Playlists #240

When you search for something, some results are playlists. In them, content that should be blocked is still visible. If that cannot be fixed, at least add a function that hides all playlist results on search.

As far as I know I don't think it has never blocked (hidden) videos found in playlists. Only at channels and in search results. From other sites it just appears a black screen. This needs to be fixed. When accessing a blocked channel, it should display that monkey that Youtube displays when trying to access an invalid channel URL. Similar with blocked videos... The main reason I need this to work is because there are many channels with mis-information, scientifically incorrect videos, political propaganda and so on. Another reason I want this addon is because it is emotionally heavy for fans of shows/channels that went through drastic changes. Just unsubbing would not work as the algorithm still suggests content from the same channel. Example: I was a fan of a show. Back before 2020 I was watching a certain channel I loved but after February 2021 something happened to the channel. Other, different content was added and names of characters in the earlier videos were changed in the title while they still were addressed as usual in the videos, causing a great confusion. The new character did not have the uniqueness I knew and loved, and was the main reason I watched. The new character were just another grain on the beech so to speak. I should not speculate but I believe the owner of the channel and company behind it was sold or sadly, because the surname is the same, rather it might have been inherited to some relative after the channel owner's death, and they did not want to tell the truth and made a lot of things up, causing a great confusion. But they changed the content/orientation. It could also have been hacked. In all cases it is very confusing. There is too much content on Youtube aleady that is "confusing". I fear it is a trend, that channels that do good, get bought up or inherited/taken over and changed in this way. They do not remove old videos, they change their titles to get more view time instead, causing confusion. They make up strange stories of the main characters so viewers get their own impression while the truth is far, far different. A truth that never seems to surface. And the algorithm seems to still suggest videos from those channels that are no longer what they used to be. If this is a trend, this addon is urgent, but we also need ways to find new channels emerging that could have something good still. So maybe there are people who love coding who could come up with some search engine of sorts as well?
