Blocking comments by blocking a user's channel ID does not block comments replying to that user #250

Is there any way to block comments replying to a user whose comments you have blocked?

There is a user who always makes vulgar comments replying to every comment in a video, so I blocked him by blocking his channel ID. That works fine and gets rid of his comments, but in every thread there are always tons of users replying to his comments, and those continue to remain.

The comment replies all contain the phrase "@blockedusername", so I figured I could also get rid of these comments by putting "blockedusername" in the comment content section of BlockTube, but that doesn't seem to work.

Is there any other solution to this?

Putting /@blockedusername/ in the Comment content section seems to work.
