8 months ago I also want this feature as youtube.com is now disabling video playback if you use an ad-blocker and constantly updating filter lists gets annoying, and I would like to move to 3rd party youtube sites because they don't have this issue, but unfortunately that means having to see all the channels I've blocked again and ublock origin's element picker isn't as reliable for blocking like blocktube is, please consider it.
One of the main things I miss from YouTube now that I'm mainly on piped.video is this add-on. There's no native way to block YouTube videos/channels there, and as far as I can tell there's currently no browser add-on that'll do it either.
I know this is likely way out of the scope of the add-on, but just thought I'd try my luck.
