[Feature request] Add option to block channels by using face recognition on video thumbnails #327

I am suggesting this half-jokingly because I know it wouldn't be easy to implement (it would require interrogating thumbnail contents using some 3rd party service).

But... have you ever been annoyed by thumbnails like this?

No, I don't want to expose you to Mr. Beast's face — his thumbnail faces are the worst.

This "fake shock" face, which has been engineered to draw eyeballs to it is being blatantly abused by everyone remotely popular on youtube and it irks me to no end — I don't ever want to see a single one of those even if I need to run a local instance of CLIP Interrogator to get rid of them.

You can solve this issue by using dearrow extension. It replaces thumbnails with a simpler format, but it significantly increases loading speed. I suggest just blocking these channels entirely.

The problem with blocking them is that there are so many of them. Just Mr. Beast has like how many channels? And everyone is copying him and some are even copying his content. It's a race we can't win.
