true story

Newest 0.4.4 is completely non-functional for me as well. Firefox 115.16.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 7.

rumagent commented 2 weeks ago

Does not work on Macos 15.0.1 / FF115.16.0esr either.

ft5e commented 1 week ago

Same. Ubuntu 22.04 and waterfox G6.0.20. All functions fail.

Even manually adding videos does not work.

21 October update: rolled back to 0.4.2 which works correctly. updates now disabled.

Some changes were made in 0.4.4 to support manifest v3 and the latest firefox 128 releases.

maybe this has produced regressions for older versions of firefox.

I have no clue but I would suggest this, using backup plans so you can revert to your current config:

-attempt to rollback extension to v0.4.2 and forbid extension auto update -if you can and want, attempt to use firefox 128 instead (SAVE YOUR PROFILE DIRECTORY BEFORE, it might break, it has for me)

I update Firefox to v131 and now Blocktube works again, thank you very much.

I am on LibreWolf 131.0.3-1 and I rolled BlockTube back to 0.4.2, but blocking a channel still fails with the error Uncaught TypeError: eventSink is undefined
