no option for max items #202

i've attached a modified version 0.9 with the fix

the bits i've changed are:

1) checkBox.click handler
2) checkItem function
3) maxItems option which gets passed in as an option and has a default value 
set at the bottom of the file

The desired functionality is already supported via the callback mechanism as 
shown by the example on the DEMO page. No special option or base code 
modification is required.
