Delete and ignore the .DS_Store in the master branch #2

There's a .DS_Store file in the master branch. This is a custom local file specific to MacOS and must not be pushed to the remote repository (remote).

Git provides the functionality to ignore such local files from being pushed to remote via the .gitignore file.

Action Items:

[x] Delete the .DS_Store
[x] create a .gitignore file and add .DS_Store to it

AC:

[x] .DS_Store no longer appears in remote
