Actions on the swt gui thread result in a flashing piece if you are holding one. #546

Grab a piece.
While holding onto it type return a bunch of times in the console.
The piece will blink and disappear.

same problem im using ubuntu 11.04 and nvidia card.  with nouveau 3d 
experimental it works better than the nvidia private driver
