A customer filled in ZP pwd field in user details screen. It stopped previews 
from generating, as it should. 

Need a quick plug in FAQ to tell admins not to do this.

Symptoms: preview updates don't work for the user, but work other users or 
admins.

Have a look at user details page in the admin.
It has ZP password field.

I cannot replicate this. Tried it on two instances, was able to upload images,  
generate previews no problem.

I can add it to the FAQs but, doesn't look like it is a valid problem.

Are you saying you changed the pwd and it made no difference?
This should not be happening.

Yes, that is correct.
Update preview works for the user after changing the ZetaPrints user password 
on user Account information page in admin.
