Before you begin please read the FAQ!

Attention!

Don't post doubles!

Why is it important to find doubles?

Sipdroid is a community project. This is no dropbox for your personal
issue. You need to find others having the same problem to get it fixed. If
the problem has already been reported you add more details and ideas to the
existing discussion. If it has not been reported yet you include as many
background info as possible to give the community a chance to follow up on
it. No one will just sit there and try to replicate your setup. The root
cause of the problem will need to be identified to get it fixed.

How can I find doubles?

When clicking on issues tab there is a search box. Enter keywords for your
issue to find previous reports matching yours. Choose find all to match
closed tickets as well.

How can I investigate an incompatiblity?

Just mentioning a SIP server or device that does not interoperate with
Sipdroid won't help much because the developers might not have that
particular setup on hands. So you will try to add a SIP or logcat trace
from your network/phone to make a fix at all possible.

Did you carefully read above?

If yes, please fill out the following form and provide all necessary
details.
If not, you may continue in the Forum where you can discuss your problem to
clear things up before filing an issue report.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. register successfully to pbxes
2. try to make or receive call
3. check chat status in gmail

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to get and receive cals, but nothing in either direction. Has worked
up till two days ago. (Still works of Sipgate) I also notice that my chat
status icon in gmail is the little robot. When pbxes is working I the icon is
always a green dot, no matter what my status is

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?

sipdroid 2.2, droid x, liberty 2.1 rom

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?

Which type of network are you using?

Please provide any additional information below.

It was early in the morning when I posted this. I should add that this problem
happens on both wifi and 3g and only happens with pbxes. Sipgate works fine.
Again, I get green dots for both servers.

No phone service for a few days now.

I'd like to take down my gtalk trunk and start over but I afraid I'll lose everything, what with the gtalk blackout and everything. I know this is a free service but I sure could use some help.

Might be educational for pbxes/sipdroid too.

Waiting, hoping....

You should click "Submit & Start" in the personal data tab of the PBXes
dashboard. That won't loose any setting but reset your PBX.

Well that worked a charm! Thanks a bunch!

Now the google chat status icon is back to being a green dot 24 hours a day
instead of the android robot! (Issue 846) Now, thats somehow reassuring, rather
than irritating!

Thanks again for your help!

Hey, its good to know this fix because I have had to use it three times in the
last five days! Could you please let the people at pbxes know? I've also helped
someone else on the forum with the same problem.

Thanks again.

Yes, I often randomly experience this issue for no apparent reason. Following
the "Submit & Start" procedure immediately resolves this. This is a real pain
to reset often.
