replace master branch with g0-merge and call it main #133

We are ready to replace master with g0-merge, at least on the Vlasov and gyrokinetic side.

I am closing this issue and will create a new issue listing the conditions for such a renaming to occur. We need to meet a few milestone we need to meet before we do this.
