That's fantastic news guys, I'll play with it right now.I'm really happy to hear it because the two best things we can do to make our YC application stronger are a demo and customer testimonials.Al Abut--designer, crimefighterhttp://alabut.comhttp://twitter.com/alabut--- Show quoted text -On Mon, Sep 19, 2011 at 8:26 PM, Amir Malik amir@pilvy.com wrote: Robert and I had a fantastic working session today. Al, open up Chrome and click on the wrench icon -> Tools -> Extensions. Expand Developer mode and click Update extensions now. When it asks about permissions, click reenable the extension. Then, open up the extension's Options page for a one-time migration. Select the ammmir/inboxissues-test repository, which we can use for testing, and click Save & Continue. You should then be able to reload your Gmail tab and click on a message and see the InboxIssues sidebar. If you don't make sure to scroll to the right (this was the previous issue, I confirmed it with Robert's machine).- Amir

I'm no longer convinced that one of the benefits for Inbox Issues should be that developers can see the email threads right inside of github issues - it pollutes the description field way too much, regardless of how well the parsing works. It'll just be too long for anything except the shortest of email threads and way too much info.

The one above isn't even the worst example - see issue #7 for a really long one.

I have an idea for how the description field could work within the widget itself and I'll try to whip together a quick sketch in google drawing to show how it'd work.
