Buttons are not clickable if the app is installed from Mac App Store #989

If the iOS app is installed on Mac with Apple Silicon via App Store, it works fine, but buttons are clickable only if you press them for 1 – 2 seconds. It is also impossible to drag the bottom sheet in the main tab of the app.

There was the same problem in Outline app, but they successfully fixed it (https://github.com/Jigsaw-Code/outline-apps/issues/1727).

macOS 14.6.1, the app version is 4.6.0.

The client from the App Store does not work due to the fact that the App Store has a build only for iOS, i.e. there is no version for Mac in the App Store. You can install the application, but it will not work.

You can install the current version for Mac from the releases (.dmg file) - https://github.com/amnezia-vpn/amnezia-client/releases/download/4.7.0.0/AmneziaVPN_4.7.0.0.dmg

The Mac app installs itself uncomfortably deep in the system, has an icon unsuitable for design of latest macOS versions, requires to be constantly running in order for the VPN to work, and it is unclear how the app gets updates. The iOS app on Mac doesn’t have any of these disadvantages, except for the problem with buttons. If this is fixed, everything will be perfect.

One more point, the macOS app, unlike the iOS app on Mac, doesn’t support integration with system Shortcuts, so it is impossible to automate the VPN on/off according to my custom rules
