This specimen be must the same listed in Koelz, W. 1947. Notes on a collection of birds from Madras Presidency. Journal of the Bombay Natural History Society. 47: (1) 128–142. Although this study was conducted in the erstwhile Madras Presidency, the Mahendra Giri mentioned now falls in Orissa State and Gajapati district(county). This is clarified in the introduction (p 128) in the above mentioned article.

The StateProvince should be Orissa and County should be Gajapati. I don't see this at portal.vertnet.org/o/amnh/birds?id=skin_463605 now too.

Or is it that it takes a while for the change to be reflected here?
