Profile our integration tests

Currently some of the integration tests take an long time to complete. We should figure out where all the work is being done in those that take a long time to see where it is best to concentrate our performance tuning efforts. In particular the following tests are all over thirty seconds on my machine (those with a † take over a minutes):
