Generating Figs 3,4 in Leonard 1994 #3

@boribong try and understand how Figs 3,4 were generated. n is not at equilibrium, seems to be the 'leftmost' value of n from the limit cycle plot. Still unclear. Can we reproduce any of the 12 subplots??

These figures are essentially numerical hand waving, as clarified in Kirby and Burdon, 1997. Closing this issue as we are not pursuing these results any more.
