Not selectable after installation on HTC Hero #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Aquire HTC Hero
2. Install Scandinavian Keyboard + Norwegian Dictionary
3. Enable in settings

What is the expected output? 
Scandinavian Keyboard selectable in Keyboard Types

What do you see instead?
QWERTY, Phone keypad, Compact QWERTY (Same as before install)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.3.1 on HTC Hero Nordic, original ROM w/root

Please provide any additional information below.

Argh, nevermind. Misunderstood the instructions. Long press in text field -> 
select
input method -> scandinavian keyboard works perfectly. Sorry. Pls close.
