Will the ability to text with a Google voice number be added at some point?

To be honest, it is not really planned. As far as I know, it is only available in the US, so I would not be able to even test it. So that would promise a very buggy feature. There are other apps for google voice. I am afraid you will have to keep using them. Alternatively, someone in the US could contribute to the code of Hg10. It is open source, everyone could do it, but me I would not be able to do that from Europe.
